Our analysis found University of Utah to be the most popular school for nursing students who want to pursue a doctor’s degree in the Rocky Mountains Region . Located in the midsize city of Salt Lake City, U of U is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Women make up 80% of the nursing majors at the school.

The in-demand doctor’s degree programs at University of Colorado Denver/Anschutz Medical Campus helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in the Rocky Mountains Region . Located in the large city of Denver, CU Anschutz is a public school with a very large student population.

About 87% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 13% are male.

Out of the 16 schools in the Rocky Mountains Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Montana State University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the town of Bozeman, MSU Bozeman is a public school with a large student population.

Of the 26 students majoring in nursing at MSU Bozeman, 12% are male and 88% are female.

About 83% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 17% are male.

Denver, CO

Regis University did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for nursing students to get a doctor’s degree. It came in at #6 on the list. Located in the city of Denver, Regis U is a private not-for-profit college with a moderately-sized student population.

Of the 22 students majoring in nursing at Regis U, 9% are male and 91% are female.

University of Northern Colorado landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular doctor’s degree nursing programs. University of Northern Colorado is a fairly large public school located in the midsize city of Greeley.
