To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from each school on the list.

Our 2023 rankings named Augusta University the most popular school in Georgia for nursing students working on their doctor’s degree. Located in Augusta, Georgia, the medium-sized public school awarded 96 diplomas to qualifed doctor’s degree students in 2020-2021.

Around 80% of those degree recipients were women.

One thing to take note of is that Augusta University does offer online graduate classes in some areas. During the 2019-2020 year, about 49% of the graduate students at the school took at least one online course.

The excellent doctor’s degree programs at South University’s online programs helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in Georgia. Located in Savannah, Georgia, the medium-sized private for-profit school handed out 45 doctor’s degree awards in 2020-2021.

Of those students who received their degree, 100% were women.

If you are interested in distance education, South University’s online programs is an excellent choice, since graduate classes are offered online.

Around 86% of those degree recipients were women.

You may have the opportunity to take online graduate classes at Emory. Of all the graduate students enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 74% took at least some of their classes online.
