Rutgers New Brunswick is a public institution located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The school has a large population, and it awarded 163 doctor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 87% of those degree recipients were women.

Villanova University came in at #17 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Nursing Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region ranking. This fairly large private not-for-profit school is located in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and it awarded 16 doctor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
Around 94% of those degree recipients were women.
One thing to take note of is that Villanova does offer online graduate classes in some areas. In fact, around 89% of the graduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
George Washington University ranked #18 on this year’s Most Popular Nursing Doctor’s Degree Schools in the Middle Atlantic Region list. George Washington University is a large private not-for-profit school located in Washington, District of Columbia that handed out 15 doctor’s degrees in 2020-2021.
