The excellent bachelor’s degree programs at University of Connecticut helped the school earn the #2 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in Connecticut. Located in Storrs, Connecticut, the large public school handed out 5,690 bachelor’s degree awards in 2021-2022.
In-state students pay an average of $19,434 in tuition and fees if they attend UCONN full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $42,102. Bachelor’s Degree recipients from UCONN accumulate an average of $20,882 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 55% were women.
You may have the opportunity to take online classes at UCONN. During the 2020-2021 year, about 54% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
A rank of #3 on this year’s list means Quinnipiac University is a great place for nursing students working on their bachelor’s degree. Quinnipiac is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school situated in Hamden, Connecticut. It awarded 1,770 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
The average tuition and fees at Quinnipiac is $51,790. In-state students do not receive a discount, however you may be able to reduce your price if you receive financial aid. A rank of #4 on this year’s list means Sacred Heart University is a great place for nursing students working on their bachelor’s degree. Sacred Heart University is a fairly large private not-for-profit school located in Fairfield, Connecticut that handed out 1,475 bachelor’s degrees in 2021-2022.
