Our 2023 rankings named College of Southern Nevada the most popular school in Nevada for nursing students working on their associate degree. Located in Las Vegas, Nevada, the large public school awarded 193 diplomas to qualifed associate degree students in 2020-2021.
In-state students pay an average of $3,848 in tuition and fees if they attend CSN full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $11,534. On average, associate degree students take out $14,367 in loans while pursuing their degree. Around 76% of those degree recipients were women.
Some students may be able to take online classes at CSN. In fact, around 66% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.
Out of the 6 schools in Nevada that were part of this year’s ranking, Carrington College, Reno landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in Reno, Nevada, the very small private for-profit school handed out 167 associate degree awards in 2020-2021.
On average, associate degree students take out $30,485 in loans while pursuing their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 80% were women.

The excellent associate degree programs at Western Nevada College helped the school earn the #4 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in Nevada. WNC is a small public school situated in Carson City, Nevada. It awarded 50 associate degrees in 2020-2021.
In-state students pay an average of $3,748 in tuition and fees if they attend WNC full time. If you are from out of state, expect to pay an average of $11,434. Associate Degree recipients from WNC accumulate an average of $16,788 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Around 80% of those degree recipients were women.

Las Vegas College did quite well in this year’s ranking of the most popular places for nursing students to get an associate degree. It came in at #6 on the list. Las Vegas College is a private for-profit institution located in Henderson, Nevada. The school has a very small population, and it awarded 14 associate degrees in 2020-2021.
Associate Degree recipients from Las Vegas College accumulate an average of $33,984 in student debt by the time they complete their degree. Of those students who received their degree, 86% were women.
One thing to take note of is that Las Vegas College does offer online classes in some areas. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 61% took at least some of their classes online.
