Our 2023 rankings named Polk State College the most popular school in the Southeast Region for nursing students working on their associate degree. Polk State is a public institution located in Winter Haven, Florida. The school has a medium-sized population, and it awarded 1,605 associate degrees in 2021-2022.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at Polk State is $3,366. Out-of-state students pay an average of $12,271. By the time they get their associate degree, students from this school have racked up an average of $12,473 in student loans. Around 66% of those degree recipients were women.
To give an idea of how popular online courses are at the school, 79% of undergraduates took at least one course online in 2020-2021.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Western Kentucky University is a great place for nursing students working on their associate degree. Located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the fairly large public school handed out 166 associate degree awards in 2021-2022.
