Our 2023 rankings named Clovis Community College the best school in New Mexico for nursing students working on their basic certificate.
In-state students pay an average of $1,616 in tuition and fees if they attend Clovis Community College full time. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $2,984.
Some students may be able to take online classes at Clovis Community College. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 63% took at least some of their classes online.
You’ll join some of the best and brightest minds around you if you attend University of New Mexico - Gallup Campus. The school came in at #2 on this year’s Best Nursing Basic Certificate Schools in New Mexico list.
Students from New Mexico who attend UNM Gallup full time pay an average of $1,932 in tuition and fees. Out-of-state students pay an average of $4,708.
UNM Gallup does offer online classes for certain degree levels. In fact, around 64% of the undergraduate population registered for at least one online class in 2019-2020.

The excellent basic certificate programs at Santa Fe Community College helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the best nursing schools in New Mexico.
The average in-state tuition and fees for students at SFCC is $2,505. Those students who come from outside the state pay an average of $4,995.
SFCC does offer online classes for certain degree levels. During the 2019-2020 year, about 90% of the undergraduates at the school took at least one online course.
Out of the 7 schools in New Mexico that were part of this year’s ranking, San Juan College landed the # 4 spot on the list.
In-state students pay an average of $1,618 in tuition and fees if they attend SJC full time. Out-of-state students pay an average of $4,546.
Some students may be able to take online classes at SJC. Of all the undergraduates enrolled at the school during the 2019-2020 academic year, around 84% took at least some of their classes online.
You’ll be in good company if you decide to attend Central New Mexico Community College. It ranked #5 on our 2023 Best Nursing Basic Certificate Schools in New Mexico list.

Eastern New Mexico University - Roswell Campus came in at #7 in this year’s edition of the Best Nursing Basic Certificate Schools in New Mexico ranking.
