Our analysis found Miami Regional University to be the most popular school for nursing students who want to pursue a master’s degree in Florida. Located in the suburb of Miami Springs, Miami Regional University is a private for-profit college with a fairly small student population.

About 59% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 41% are male.

Out of the 26 schools in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, University of South Florida - Main Campus landed the # 2 spot on the list. Located in the city of Tampa, USF Tampa is a public college with a fairly large student population.

The in-demand master’s degree programs at Nova Southeastern University helped the school earn the #3 place on this year’s ranking of the most popular nursing schools in Florida. NUS Florida is a very large private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of Fort Lauderdale.

Of the 202 students majoring in nursing at NUS Florida, 10% are male and 90% are female.

Out of the 26 schools in Florida that were part of this year’s ranking, University of Miami landed the # 4 spot on the list. U Miami is a large private not-for-profit school located in the small city of Coral Gables.
