Top 10 Most Popular Nursing Master's Degree Schools
Our 2023 rankings named Seton Hall University the most popular school in New Jersey for nursing students working on their master’s degree. Seton Hall is a moderately-sized private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of South Orange.
Women make up 85% of the nursing majors at the school.
A rank of #2 on this year’s list means Monmouth University is a great place for nursing students working on their master’s degree. Monmouth is a medium-sized private not-for-profit school located in the suburb of West Long Branch.
Of the 65 students majoring in nursing at Monmouth, 9% are male and 91% are female.
Out of the 19 schools in New Jersey that were part of this year’s ranking, Fairleigh Dickinson University - Metropolitan Campus landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the large suburb of Teaneck, FDU is a private not-for-profit school with a moderately-sized student population.
About 82% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 18% are male.

Ramapo College of New Jersey came in at #6 in this year’s edition of the Most Popular Nursing Master’s Degree Schools in New Jersey ranking. Ramapo College is a medium-sized public school located in the large suburb of Mahwah.

Thomas Edison State University landed the #7 spot in the 2023 rankings for the most popular master’s degree nursing programs. Located in the small city of Trenton, TESU is a public college with a medium-sized student population.
