In 2021-2022, 319,502 degrees and certificates were awarded to nursing students, making the major the most popular in the country.

To assist you in seeing some of the education options that are available to you, Nursing Degree Search has created its Most Popular Nursing Graduate Certificate Schools in the Southeast Region ranking. This report analyzed 105 schools in the Southeast Region to see which ones were the most popular graduate certificate programs for nursing students. To create this ranking we looked at how many students graduated from the Nursing program at each school on the list.

The colleges and universities below are the most popular for nursing majors pursuing a graduate certificate.

Our analysis found University of South Alabama to be the most popular school for nursing students who want to pursue a graduate certificate in the Southeast Region . Located in the city of Mobile, USA is a public college with a fairly large student population.

Out of the 105 schools in the Southeast Region that were part of this year’s ranking, Liberty University landed the # 3 spot on the list. Located in the small city of Lynchburg, Liberty University is a private not-for-profit college with a very large student population.

About 93% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 7% are male.
