Our analysis found East Tennessee State University to be the most popular school for nursing students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Tennessee. ETSU is a large public school located in the city of Johnson City.

Of the 563 students majoring in nursing at ETSU, 15% are male and 85% are female.

On average, nursing graduates from ETSU take out $26,540 in student loans while working on their Bachelor's Degree. When it comes time to repay the loan, graduates who are on a 10-year repayment plan pay an average monthly payment of $176.

A rank of #2 on this year’s list means University of Memphis is a great place for nursing students working on their bachelor’s degree. UofM is a very large public school located in the city of Memphis.

About 91% of the students majoring in nursing at the school are women while 9% are male.
